Above: The Shorter University Lady Hawks softball team faced the University of West Georgia on the weekend of March 5, 2021 and lost all three games to West Georgia.

Below are some of my photos that were published in the Campus Carrier student newspaper at Berry College.
Above: From left: Seniors Emily Hancock, Carson VanCampen, and Jordan Leitch gather around their head coach Caitlyn Moriarty. The three seniors have made significant impacts to the volleyball program during their past four seasons. This was used with a volleyball season update story that I did that was published in the October 31, 2019 Campus Carrier.
Above: State Mutual Stadium is the home of the Rome Braves. The Atlanta Braves and Floyd County recently agreed to a contract extension that will keep the Rome Braves here through at least the 2025 season. This was used with a story that I did about the Rome Braves extending their contract with Floyd County in the February 14, 2019 Campus Carrier.
Above: The Berry football team has averaged 2,281 fans per game this season, including both conference and non-conference games, according to berryvikings.com. Students make up a large part of this fanbase. These were used with a column that a fellow sports communication student wrote urging students to support Berry athletics.
Above: This photo was used with a commentary piece that I wrote about the Atlanta Braves having a season of unexpected success in the September 27, 2018 Campus Carrier.

Above: In my Sports Journalism class at Berry, I had to do a game recap on a high school game. I covered the Rome Wolves and Lithonia Bulldogs in the first round game of the Georgia Class 5A State Playoffs in 2019.
Above: This is a photo that I took while I was interning with the Rome Braves in summer 2019. This was my view from the press box as I ran the line score on the main video board.
